1. Stay Hydrated – Remember to drink 2 – 3 litres of water each day
2. Check on family, friends and neighbours – Remember the most at risk of heat stroke are the sick, elderly and the children.
3. Stay out of the sun – Use sun protection if you are outside
4. Get your home ready – close blinds and curtains – keep as much sun out as possible
5. Look after your pets – make sure they have access to water and shade ALL day. Bring them inside if needed.
